OK, business travelers, I travel too much to buy cheap luggage. Yet, the thought of subjecting an investment to America’s baggage handlers is distressing. I often have to check my bag and need a GREAT garment bag that carries three to five suits and shirts. I want your opinion on the BEST, MOST DURABLE luggage.

Samsonite Oyster. I have one I’ve used regulalrly on over 200 flights to a dozen different countries in the last 20 years and it’s still good as new (apart from a few scuffs). Plus rigid luggage doesn’t tear or snag on airport conveyors and it can be squashed shut so you can stuff more in if you need to.
