Is that what you really think? asked:

I have read the airlines websites – but what I want to know if CAN I take shipping box as a piece of luggage?

The dimensions are fine 18x18x18 and the weight is fine… but is there any problem using a box? (ups box)

Yeah I know it sounds “strange” but I dont need to buy more suit cases – I already have 4 and a box is cheap and i can just throw it away/recycle it.
there are 3 of us going. so 6 check in bags with the new feeds ($15 +$25 = $40 X3 = $120)

I just want to know if 2 of the bags can be shipping boxes? IS the BOX a problem?
- it is within the weight and dimensions

Island Girl asked:

I am going home in a week and can’t get all my stuff to hold in my allowed luggage. I need to ship the extras – a few work suits, shoes and handbags. They are mixed – new and used, so I am hoping to find a way that cuts down on the duties for clearing them.

I also need a cheap way that will not cost an arm and leg. Of course safety is important. I know the penchant for stuff to turn up missing.

I am looking to send a medium sized box. I have considered USPS – regular post office international package, Air Jamaica Cargo and freight forwarders e.g. the people that ship barrels. Know any good ones in the DC area?
