Matt asked:
I am taking a train to Akko for a business meeting. After the meeting I would like to change clothes and view the local sites. (I assume wearing a business suit to tour the city in summer might be a little uncomfortable).
Are there lockers to rent at the local train station? I could store my clothes there while I am sightseeing.

i have never been to the station in akko, but have been to many others in israel and they all had lockers.
however to be double sure you can call the israeli railway information (they do speak english) on the following number
+97203-6117000
have a good trip
Take a back pack, habibi
i doubt if there are. because of security concerns, lockers are not available in train stations.
it’s better to take a small backpack to take your clothes in.
also, make sure that a business suit is actually needed, because people here are not as formal as they are in the us.
Here’s the Railway link:
Acre : Remez st.
Public Telephone
Ticket Cashier
Automatic Cashier
Buffet
Parking
Rest Rooms
Shopping Facilities
Taxi Station
It provides a couple of ways to contact the station for more info. (including Dandyl’s phone suggestion). On the list of available services, lockers are not mentioned.
You could also contact the Akko Visitors Center for suggestions.
