You won’t be able to take a suitcase on board a flight with you as there are now tough regulations that have been brought in. If you wish to take a handbag then most airlines will not allow you to carry anymore hand luggage onto the aircraft and you wil l have to check in excess luggage and may be pay to do so.
It is best to check with the airline that you are travelling on as they may have expceptions or different rules.

as long as your suitcase packed is under 20kg and your handbag is under 10kg you should be fine

It looks very nice but the colour will show the dirt and they get thrown around . I dont know what the measurements are but it looks to big for carry on luggage and carry on luggage shouldnt weigh more than 7 kilos plus your handbag making it 10 kilos. You where unfortunate your case went missing . I always check my luggage in but take a bag with me on the plane with a change of clothes. Some cheaper cases weigh quite heavy so usually it pays to shop around the lighter the suitcase the more clothes you can carry
