Charles M asked:

I’m going on a one for 16 days from Vienna to Amsterdam in a week from now. It’ll be casual dress during the day.Should the Captain’s welcoming dinner,or farewell party, or attending an evening piano concert ashore in Wertheim be more formal?

I’m wondering if I should bring along a blazer with trousers or wear jeans with an open collar shirt (no tie) with it to cut down on luggage room. I’m bringing only one suit case ( less than 70 lbs )

Checking the Internet I understand the weather there has been between upper 50′s at night and 70′s during the day with some scattered rain along the way
.
. I don’t expect sunny weather all the time. I’ve been to Ireland for a week, and it only rained twice all the time I was there, once for three days, and once for four. I’m bringing a rain jacket that packs into it’s own pocket.

What would be something old country to bring back? My wife collects Hummels and I have a few beer steins. Any suggestions other than those?
What’s this question doing in “Fashion & accessories”, when I asked it in “Travel”?

I make solid silver and gold jewelry with high-quality semi-precious gemstones. The look will be inspired by exotic and ancient motifs, but will also be sleek and modern. I was thinking of using

“handmade for the adventurous”

For my tagline. I want to target women, age 20-40, who value wearing jewelry that is distinctive, has meaning, and yet, is chic and classy in appearance.

Do you think my tagline works, or do you think I would be alienating a part of my target group with the word ‘adventurous’? My jewelry can be worn with business suits, jeans, or with that little black dress, so it is really versatile. I was thinking of also including a handmade luggage tag as a freebie with every order to reinforce the idea of the ‘adventure’. What do you think?
