Hey. My grandparents live in the New England area and we always go to Maine. If I were you, i would pack a pair or two of jeans or other kind of pants. Also i would pack some shorts because it is sometimes warm. a tip to packing is to roll your clothes. they will take up less space doing that. You may not need your bathing suit because the water there is ice cold all year round but you could always go tanning.

Our daughter went and stay with a friend in Maine for 3 weeks last summer and really enjoyed it. She did go swimming plus jumped off a bridge into the water, went kayaking, etc. So, do take your bathing suit, better to have it then to go buy another one . Use the hotel towels, this will save space although they are not as long and comfy to lay on.
Take a pair of jeans for night.
Rolling your clothes does help.
